While the nation queued up to get their cash exchanged or to withdraw cash from the Atm’s, an extravagant wedding was going on at the Palace grounds in Bengaluru. The wedding of businessman-turned-politician Gali Janardhan Reddy’s daughter took place on 16th November 2016 and the mining baron didn’t spare a nickel. The star-studded affair was attended by over 50,000 guests. Dancers were flown in from Brazil to perform and models to serve Pan Beeda at the ceremonies and the 5-day long event was as grand and lavish as you'd expect. Already being touted as the biggest, fattest Indian wedding, the affair is under IT scanner for its lavish arrangements and the kind of money involved.
