Our photographer Scott hopped in this turbocharged 3 series BMW at Street Car Takeover Indy because he has a massive BMW fetish... he got a little more than he expected when the car's turbo caught on fire, likely due to an oil leak dripping onto the exhaust manifold. Luckily there wasn't anything flammable around the turbo for it to spread, so it was only good for some laughs on the joy ride!
The video cuts short because Scott switched his SLR camera to take photos, you can rest easy, they put the fire out with water shortly after and the car is still alive today!
