President-elect Donald Trump stood by his pledge to reject the presidential salary, during his interview with CBS' "60 Minutes." When news anchor Lesley Stahl reminded him that it was $400,000 per year, he turned it down and said he'll only be taking $1 per year. Throughout his presidential trail, the Republican repeatedly expressed he would not accept a presidential salary. “The first thing I’m going to do is tell you that if I’m elected president, I’m accepting no salary, OK? That’s no big deal for me," Trump said. While Trump never disclosed his annual salary, Forbes estimates his net worth to be approximately $3.7 billion.
