Officer in Philando Castile murder charged with manslaughter

The Minnesota police officer who shot and killed Philando Castile during a traffic stop in July was charged Wednesday with second-degree manslaughter. Ramsey County Attorney John Choi said. Castile's wife, Diamond Reynolds, filmed the aftermath live on Facebook. Castile's death sparked outrage nationwide and spurred many protests. St. Anthony police Officer Jeronimo Yanez will make a first court appearance Friday, Choi said.
