Footage has emerged from China of students standing in a stupidly long queue to collect their parcels in the wake of the country's equivalent of Black Friday, Singles Day.

The video, filmed in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on Tuesday, shows the large number of people queuing up to collect whatever they ordered during the online shopping frenzy.
