En 2007, le roman Point of Impact de Stephen Hunter avait eu droit à son adaptation au cinéma, intitulée Shooter, portée Mark Wahlberg. Une décennie plus tard, voici la déclinaison série, avec Ryan Phillippe dans la peau du personnage principal (et Wahlberg à la production). On suit les aventures de Bob Lee Swagge, un militaire vétéran, tireur d'élite hyper-doué, recruté par les renseignements américains.
