Flooding Lets Boys Bounce Around on Jello Grass or 'Lawn Blisters'

Some call it a ‘lawn blister’ others have remarked it is a ‘grass pimple’. Whatever the name for it, two teenage boys had a blast running around on its jello-like surface, on November 15.Video taken by Hutt International Boys’ School student Luke Minihan and his friend Jack Sexton shows the two running wild across a racecourse which had been flooded as a result of torrential rain, and landslides from the November 14 earthquake. Minihan said the grass felt like a trampoline made of jello. Credit: Luke Minihan via Storyful
