Chili’s under fire after manager takes free meal from vet on Veterans Day

Chili's Bar and Grill on Monday suspended a Dallas-area manager and issued an apology after the manager took away a meal from a black veteran during the restaurant chain's "free meals for veterans" promotion on Veterans Day. Army Veteran Ernest Walker went to Chili’s with his service dog and was waiting for his to-go order when an older white man questioned him about his military service.
Walker wrote. Walker said he has received an apology from the company Monday.
