Donald Trump May Not Take Up Full-Time Residence At The White House

Recently, Donald Trump said he did not intend to take a lot of vacations while serving as president, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be spending more time at the White House.

On Sunday night, ‘60 Minutes’ broadcast its post-election interview with Donald Trump.
Trump told CBS' Leslie Stahl that he did not intend to take a lot of vacations while serving as president, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be spending more time at the White House.
According to the New York Times, Trump's advisers "say that Mr. Trump, who was shocked when he won the election, might spend most of the week in Washington, much like members of Congress, and return to Trump Tower or his golf course in Bedminster, N.J., or his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach on weekends."
Ross Rosenfeld, a contributor to The Hill, writes of the matter, “So now we may wind up with a part-time president. Who knows?”
Trump’s aides say the future president’s White House time may increase as he adapts to his new job.
New York Magazine notes, "Meanwhile, Trump Tower is already being converted into a veritable fortress, complete with a no-fly zone above and dump trucks and Jersey barriers around."
