Nuisance man jumps on escalator and causes it to stop suddenly

Footage has emerged from China of a man jumping on the top of an escalator in the mall causing it to suddenly stop, nearly knocking people of their feet.

The CCTV video, filmed in Beijing last Thursday, shows the escalator suddenly grinding to a halt after the naughty individual jumped onto to some kind of emergency pedal at the top.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
