China's president says cooperation with Trump is 'only correct choice'

China's President Xi Jinping called President-elect Donald Trump to tell him that that cooperation between the two countries is the only choice.
Trump repeatedly criticized China and vowed to formally declare the country as a currency manipulator once in office.
The Republican also pledged to add 45 percent tariffs on Chinese imports to the U.S. "During the call, the leaders established a clear sense of mutual respect for one another," Trump's office said in a press release.
