Passengers Grounded After 'mini-Tornado' Rampages Through Mildura

A storm which brought hail, strong winds and a mini-tornado ripped through Mildura and Red Cliffs on November 11, according to ABCThe storms hit the region about 7:45 pm, continued throughout the night and pelted the area with powerful winds, hail storms, and thunder. According to the SES, Mildura was one of the worst hit areas.
At Mildura airport, passengers flying in from Melbourne were reportedly grounded for up to an hour. This video taken by Alister Walsh who was there to pick up his brother, shows the storm battering down on the airport. ABC reported the wind gusts reached up to 100 kilometres per hour.
