Sam has been part of Toronto’s electronic music community for over 20 years. He started throwing raves in the mid 90s under the name Thirdstar, after wanting to give something back to the scene. His energy then switched to the flourishing deep house scene in the early 2000s, and Soulshack Productions was born. Bringing in talent such as Theo Parrish, Terrence Parker, Michael Watford and Fred Everything to name a few, Soulshack parties captured the deep soulful sounds of the era. Collecting music for over 2 decades, he has since hung up the promoter hat and has turned his attention to DJing. He has graced the decks at Sunnyside Pavilion, Harvest Festival, Sunday Social and a countless list of one-off parties with deep and melodic house and techno sound.
