The world's richest people lost billions after Trump won the election

Donald Trump winning the White House has cut deep into the pockets of the world's richest people. Bloomberg reports that the world's richest people lost a collective $41 billion right after Trump's win. Carlos Slim and Gonda Rivera, the world's fifth and four-richest persons, lost $5.1 billion and $487 million, respectively. The 10 Mexican billionaires on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index lost a combined $6.5 billion. However, U.S. billionaires had the biggest dollar loss, falling $9.3 billion. It doesn't seem like they'll stay in the red for long as Wall Street quickly rebounded, following a disastrous Election Day.
