Scientists in Zimbabwe are conducting trials of new heat tolerant varieties of maize that should be ready for sale ahead of the next planting season. The hybrid seeds developed by scientists from the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre offer hope to farmers affected by climate change and drought.
