Footage has emerged from China of a car trying to cross a river and getting stuck in the middle of it.

In the video, captured in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province on October, a firefighter wades into the water to rescue the driver, who managed to get stuck in the middle of rushing water after trying to take a short cut home.
