On Election Day, these states will vote on medical marijuana

On Election day, voters in five states will get to decide whether marijuana should be legal to use recreationally. California: The passage of Proposition 64 would legalize marijuana for people 21 years of age and older. Adults could possess up to an ounce of cannabis, purchase dried flower and cannabis products from licensed retailers and grow up to six plants for personal use. Massachusetts: Question 4 would legalize it and allow the commonwealth to tax and regulate its use and sale, much like the way alcohol is handled. Maine: Voters will decide whether to legalize the recreational use of marijuana for people 21 years of age and older, which would also allow an adult to grow up to six plants. Arizona: Proposition 205: If approved, this measure would allow adults to carry up to an ounce, grow up to six plants and consume marijuana in non-public spaces. Retail marijuana sales would have a 15 percent tax imposed. Nevada: A "yes" on Question 2 would make recreational use of 1 ounce or less legal or one-eighth of an ounce or less of concentrated marijuana legal for people age 21 and older.
