Millions of people have cast early ballots in the presidential election, but Donald Trump is still hoping to sway those voters.
On Wednesday, he tweeted, “You can change your vote in six states. So, now that you see that Hillary was a big mistake, change your vote to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The GOP nominee shared a similar message at a recent campaign rally in Wisconsin where he made what he called “...an important public service announcement.”
Trump told the crowd, “This is a message for any Democratic voters who have already cast their ballots for Hillary Clinton and who are having a bad case of buyer’s remorse--in other words you want to change your vote. Wisconsin is one of several states where you can change your early ballot if you think you've made a mistake.”
He then alluded to the renewed FBI investigation into Clinton’s emails as a reason why people may want to reconsider.
According to Politico, Wisconsin’s absentee and early voters are legally allowed to submit a ballot 3 times, with each entry overriding the previous. Similar allowances are provided in other states including New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
