Study: Blacks facing racial discrimination by Uber, Lyft drivers

A study commissioned by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and the University of Washington found that blacks see more Uber rides canceled in Boston up to two times more than other men. Additionally, the study found that blacks in Seattle faced noticeably longer wait times to get paired with drivers than white customers through Uber and Lyft. Uber doesn't show customer's headshots to drivers, but Lyft does. However, Lyft doesn't force customers to provide them. Lyft spokesman Adrian Durbin told Bloomberg.
