Drama over contract talks with Megyn Kelly? Rupert Murdoch speaks out

Rupert Murdoch made public that Fox News is in active contract negotiations with one of its biggest stars, Megyn Kelly. Murdoch told the Wall Street Journal that he would like to renew Kelly's contract as well as that of Bill O'Reilly. But he also laid the groundwork for Kelly's potential departure from Fox. The unusual public negotiations, plus the fact that Murdoch rarely grants interviews at all, makes one wonder if this is suggestive of some drama behind the scenes. Kelly is the 9 p.m. host on Fox News. Her contract is set to expire next summer.
