Dog Groomer Makes Shelter Dogs Beautiful Inside And Out!

Many know Mark Imhof as Mark "The Dog Guy" because of his passion for helping shelter dogs. In fact, Mark volunteers as a groomer at the Animal Care Centers (ACC) of NYC, an organization that takes in over 30,000 animals a year!
Mark who is an Certified Public Accountant by trade also recently graduated from grooming school and has already helped over 200 animals get out of shelters and into forever homes. Previously unadoptable and sometimes aggressive, these animals were physically/mentally unstable and unable to be loved. "While lots of people think that grooming is just for aesthetic, it actually is a medical necessity", said manager of ACC, Summer Dolder.
Mark is changing the lives of these animals by providing them with the chance to look and feel better and most importantly find a forever home. "My heart is filled with such joy doing this work!"
