Liverpool incredible season continue as they outsmarted heavily understrength Tottenham side at Anfield in the EFL Cup fourth round tie. It took just 9 minutes for Liverpool to score the opening goal when Daniel Sturridge scored on a rare start for Liverpool. After that Liverpool always had the upper hand in the game and they finally doubled the lead through Sturridge who beat offside trap to poke home after one-on-one with Spurs keeper.
