If that happens, 61% doubt Donald Trump will concede the race, as is customary for the losing candidate.
77% of respondents agree that candidates are obligated to accept the election’s results and, if applicable, gracefully acknowledge defeat.
Donald Trump has already made it clear he may not do either, should his bid for president prove unsuccessful.
In recent weeks, he has suggested fraud exists in the voting process, and, during the 3rd presidential debate, said he will decide how to handle the election results when the time comes.
