Welcome to episode four of Lets Play Metroid for the NES! Its time to visit the second mini-boss area of the game, located at the bottom of Norfair. Ridleys Lair isnt quite as large as Kraids Hideout, but its just as dangerous, with hostile enemies and numerous hazards. This area is home to Ridley, a dragon-like creature who would go on to become Samus arch-enemy, appearing in several games within the Metroid series. Once Ridley and Kraid have been defeated, a path in Brinstar will open that will grant access to Tourian, the final area of the game. This video also features an extra segment showing a special section of Kraids Hideout.\r
