Firefighters rescue panicking people from broken down elevator

Footage has emerged from China of 18 people trapped in a packed elevator, with some of them beginning to panic.
The video, captured in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province last Saturday, shows police officers comforting the people in the lift, some of whom are upset, before firefighters arrive to get them out.
According to reports, the elevator broke down because too many people were in it.
