Metal detector reveals bullet lodged in body of kangaroo
- 8 years ago
Sad footage has emerged of a man discovering a bullet lodged in a kangaroo by running a metal detector over it.
The video, captured near Melbourne, Victoria, shows the detector buzzing as it passes over the animal.
According to the filmer, the kangaroo looked in a bad way when it was found.
"It was shot before I found it, there was a lot of farmland nearby so I assumed it was shot the night before (as many farmers have permission to do so), then escaped to the bush," he wrote online.
"The reason I went up to it is because it kept falling over and it was obvious there was nothing that could be done for it."
