Amusing footage has emerged from China of a cheeky drivers using things like tyres, fire extinguishers and chairs to reserve parking spaces.

The video, captured in Hefei, Anhui Province last Sunday, shows the series of makeshift roadblocks, as locals attempt to reserve their places.

It's thought that people who own local businesses are reserving the spaces.
