Woman Accuses Expedia Of Writing ‘F-- You!’ To Her Allegedly After Negative Review

Los Angeles-area resident Cara Viramontes is accusing Expedia of canceling her travel plans and writing her a message with the phrase “F**k you!” which she suspects is related to a negative review she had given to the travel site.

A Los Angeles-area resident is claiming that Expedia sent her a message containing an expletive after she gave the travel website low marks on a company survey, reports CBSLA.com.
On October 17th, Cara Viramontes posted an account of the incident on Facebook, saying, “I went to look online at my itinerary and saw the words F**K YOU from EXPEDIA...and right below it said flight cancelled.”
She also included what appears to be a phone screenshot of the webpage with the offensive phrase.
Viramontes then wrote that she ended up speaking with a man in the corporate office who did not address the foul language but did say she would be charged $200 to rebook the flight.
She went on to speculate that the email and cancellation were retaliation for a negative review she had submitted after the family's trip cost included a charge for her 8-month-old son's insurance even though his ticket was free.
Viramontes has since posted an update to Facebook, saying that her original itinerary has been restored and Expedia even offered her an additional travel voucher; the company is reportedly still looking into the profane message.
