'Unboxing' surprise reunites friends after being separated for eight years

A funny video has emerged from the US of two friends being reunited after eight years in a tearful 'unboxing' surprise.

The video, shot earlier this month in Richmond, Virginia, shows Adam hidden inside a present box. Then, his friend Charles, appears and opens the gift, surprisingly finding his old 'bro'.

''I told Charles that for his birthday I got him a present from SDCC that was too big and heavy for me to mail to him so I asked him to pick it up from my aunt's house,'' Adam later wrote online.

''Little did Charles know that his gift was a lot bigger and emotionally heavier than expected,'' he added.
