The world longest sightseeing escalator opens in China

Cool footage has emerged from China of the world longest sightseeing escalator.

In the video, filmed in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province on Thursday, tourists can be seen standing on the 688-metre long escalator which takes 18 minutes to complete.

The attraction opened during National Day holiday on October 1.
