A former Houston 911 operator has been charged in connection to hanging up on a number of people who called for help.

According to court documents, Crenshanda Williams was linked to thousands of calls lasting no longer than 20 seconds, from October of 2015 to March of this year.
KTRK notes that among those in which she allegedly hung up on the callers is an incident involving the armed robbery of a convenience store that ended in the fatal shooting of the establishment’s manager.
In another, a caller attempted to report reckless driving. Williams hung up while the complaint was in progress then can be heard saying, "Ain't nobody got time for this. For real."
Police revealed that Williams was questioned in March and admitted that “...she often hangs up on calls that have not been connected because she did not want to talk to anyone at that time.”
She is due in court next week, reports NBC News.
