Paralympic medalist humiliated at B'luru Airport

Para -cyclist Aditya Mehta has faced humiliation once again at the Bengaluru International Airport on October 11 as he was asked to remove his prosthetic limb for security checkup.
“The person who last time had an issue with him, Thakur Das, he was there. He asked me again to get in to a room and asked me remove my leg. I told him I had an injury and I am not carrying my crutch,” Paralympian Aditya Mehta said to TIMES NOW.
A double silver medallist at the Asian Para-Cycling Championship 2013, Mehta said, “There was only half an hour left for boarding gate to close. So it will take time minimum 40 minutes. So he said if it is an injury, it's your problem. We need to like take care of our security part.”
This comes right after he faced a similar treatment at the same airport a couple of months back.
Aditya Mehta alleged that security officer in the airport hurried him to put his prosthetic leg which made his stump (Operated leg) to bleed later.
The incident happened when he was about to board a flight from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.
The above-the-knee amputee was later allowed to board the flight, but only after security officials, checked his prosthetic leg.
