A new poll shows a large majority of Republican voters is standing behind Donald Trump after a tape surfaced showing the party’s nominee making lewd comments about women in 2005.
Many Republican officials abandoned Donald Trump on Saturday, but rank-and-file Republicans are standing by the party's presidential candidate, according to a new poll.
74 percent of Republicans said GOP leaders should still back Trump.
Only 13 percent think the party shouldn’t back him.
Meanwhile, 70 percent of Democrats, said Trump should leave the race.
