Humans have reached their lifespan limit, researchers say

Humans are unlikely to ever blow out more than 125 candles on their birthday cake, according to research that suggests that our lifespan has already hit its natural limit. The research was carried out by geneticist Jan Vijg at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York with several graduates. They analyzed aging trends in the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Japan The report also says that if a human lifespan was extended beyond 125 years, it would require other scientific interventions beyond improving someone's health.
