Darwin Castro - #TeamAgitos at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games

Darwin Castro (Ecuador): The 22-year-old T11 middle distance runner won a historic 5,000m bronze medal at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games together with his guide Sebastian Rosero.

He is the first Ecuadorian to qualify for a Paralympic Games with an A mark.

At the RIo 2016 Paralympic Games, Darwin finished seventh in the men's 5,000m T11 and eighth in the men's 1,500m T11. This is the best results of an Ecuadorian athlete at a Paralympic Games.
