The British Lead Championships 2016 took place on the weekend of 24th and 25th September 2016 at Awesome Walls Sheffield.
With the recent announcements of climbing to be part of the 2020 Olympics, the anticipation was heightened to see who would come out on top of the lead climbing discipline.
The normal big guns were out, including Jim Pope, Orrin Coley and Will Bosi in the mens and Molly Thompson-Smith and Jennifer Wood expected to do well in the womens.
The scene was set for an exciting weekend of lead competition climbing.
