Gorakhpur Junction not only has World's longest platform but now it also has Heritage steam engine installed at the railway station. This YL 5001 series steam engine was built within 1952 to 1956. North Eastern Railway GM Rajiv Misra inaugurated this heritage site at Gorakhpur railway station.
