NEWS: Proton shortlists five candidates in strategic partner search

DRB Hicom says it is in talks with 5 carmakers to sell a stake in wholly-owned Proton, and that it will decide on the winning suitor before mid 2017. The conglomerate declined to say just how much of its equity it’s willing to let go, but it says that it will continue to hold a substantial stake in the company.
