On Monday's Raw, Cesaro scored a win over Sheamus to even out the record in their best-of-seven match series to 3-3. As a result of his win, the seventh and final match in the series will take place at Clash of Champions.

Cesaro continued his roll by pinning Sheamus after a Neutralizer, though the victory didn't come easily. The bout spilled to the outside of the ring, where Cesaro tossed Sheamus over the guardrail, but the former WWE World Champion came back, slamming Cesaro back-first on the ring apron. Inside, Sheamus tried to pin Cesaro with his feet on the ropes, but the referee noticed the infraction and stopped the count. Finally, Cesaro was able to score the win with his finisher.

The best-of-seven series began at the SummerSlam kickoff show, where an eye poke and a Brogue Kick put Sheamus on the board first. Eight days later on Raw, Sheamus injured Cesaro's back by backdropping him outside the ring into the guardrail, then forcing him to submit to a Texas Cloverleaf. That left the hurt Cesaro easy prey for a pinfall in match three, but the fourth bout - held at a house show in London - saw Cesaro finally pick up a win. He followed up with another on last week's Raw.

The winner of the series will get a "championship opportunity," although the championship in question has not yet been identified.

Clash of Champions airs live on the WWE Network this Sunday at 8:00 PM ET.
