Donald Trump put an end to the birther controversy he started in 2011 by acknowledging Wednesday that President Obama was indeed born in the United States. "President Obama was born in the United States," Trump said. Trump also blamed Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for starting "birther" rumors during the 2008 primary against Obama.
