Donald Trump recently spoke at a church in Flint, Michigan, but when he switched the focus of his talk from the city to Hillary Clinton, the pastor cut him off.

She told the GOP candidate, “Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we've done in Flint, not give a political speech."

In Trump’s telling of the encounter, which was broadcast Thursday morning on ‘Fox and Friends,’ the pastor was, “a nervous mess.”

Trump also noted, “The audience was saying let him speak, let him speak."

According to an NPR reporter who was in the room at the time and footage of the speech, that’s not quite how the situation played out.

Both indicate the pastor was not at all flustered, and that many in the crowd took to heckling the GOP candidate.
