ACC pulls title football game from North Carolina over bathroom law

The Atlantic Coast Conference has pulled this year’s football title game from Charlotte, North Carolina, because of the state's HB2 bill, which requires transgender people to use public bathrooms that matches the gender on their birth certificates. The ACC game, which was to be played Dec. 3 in Bank of America Stadium, had been expected to draw tens of thousands of fans and millions in economic impact to the city.
