Senegal's ecovillage experiment | Eco-at-Africa

Carim Camara is the director of the chimpanzee reserve and nature park of Dindéfelo in Senegal. He is trying to turn it into an "ecovillage” to make it more socially, economically and ecologically sustainable. In 2012, Senegal launched a program to transition a total of 14,000 traditional villages into models of ecologically, socially, economically, and culturally sustainable living.
