A Walmart store in Panama City Beach, Florida put up a display to commemorate 9/11, but, due to public outrage, its tribute was taken down.

On Sunday, it will be 15 years since the attacks on the Twin Towers took place, and across the nation many are commemorating the tragic event.
A Walmart store in Panama City Beach, Florida is among them, but, due to public outrage, its tribute was taken down, reports BuzzFeed News.
The display showed the Twin Towers against an American flag. The entire arrangement was built out of soda cases.
Above it was a banner reading, “We Will Never Forget.” A sign advertising the ‘Rollback’ price of $3.33 hung just beneath.
A Twitter user named Shawn posted a picture of the endcap along with the comment, “Florida c'mon man.”
Others had similar reactions.
One person wrote, “Stay classy!” while another pleaded, “Just tell me it's fake even if it's not so I can sleep well tonight ‘knowing’ this isn't real.”
