Obama Responds To Donald Trump's Putin Being Better Leader Comment

President Obama responded to Donald Trump’s comment that Vladimir Putin is a better leader, calling the GOP candidate unqualified and characterizing his ideas as ‘wacky.’
On Wednesday night during the NBC News presidential forum, Donald Trump hailed Vladimir Putin, saying he is a better leader to his nation than President Obama has been to the U.S.
The president responded to that comment on Thursday during a press conference in Laos, reports CNN.
He said of the GOP candidate, “I don’t think the guy is qualified to be president of the United States and every time he speaks, that opinion is confirmed.”
Obama further noted, "I think the most important thing for the public and the press is to just listen to what he says and follow-up and ask questions about what appear to be either contradictory or uninformed or outright wacky ideas."
The president remarked that when it comes to international relations, “You actually have to know what you are talking about and you actually have to have done your homework and when you speak it should actually reflect thought-out policy that you can implement.”
