In the past, the Trump campaign has raised concerns about some presidential debates landing on the same nights as NFL games, but, on Monday, Donald himself expressed he plans to participate in all three, reports CBS News.
He told reporters, “I look forward to the debates. I think it's an important element of what we’re doing. I think you have an obligation to do the debates. I did them with the other [candidates]...I guess 11 debates. I look forward to the debates.”
Trump also noted that he did quite well in those events, emerging with high favorability ratings.
The first presidential debate will be held on September 26 at Hofstra University in New York, reports Politico.
NBC’s Lester Holt will serve as the moderator.
