Revolutionary Knitter Weaves Tangled Web Of Masterpieces
  • 8 years ago
Drop your paintbrushes and pencils, because apparently 4,921 feet of thread is all you need to create some of the most beautiful portraits we've seen. As Petros Vrellis moves around the circle, you can see how the artist starts to shade in the face of El Greco's famous portrait of Christ.

The method looks so simple, we're sure anyone can do it — maybe not the intricate portrait, though. The process does get some help from technology, because a computer can turn any picture into a digital pattern for the artist to follow. We would love to just practice weaving simple patterns and shapes with this innovative knitting technique.
