The Colorado St Rams are traveling to face the Colorado Buffaloes in an NCAA college football game set for Friday September 2nd.

Notes: A season ago it was Colorado with the 27-24 overtime victory to Colorado St as a -3 point favorite. The Rams were able to move the football finishing with 500 offensive yards in defeat.

Colorado St concluded 2015 with a record of 7-6. They earned a berth into the Arizona Bowl where they suffered a 28-23 defeat to Nevada. Head coach Mike Bobo enters his second year with the program and has six starters back on offense and four to his defense. Nick Stevens returns under center for his junior season. He completed 60.8% of his throws a season ago for 2679 yards with 21 touchdowns and 12 picks. He is not much of a threat to run. Many of his playmakers in the passing game have exited the program.

Colorado concluded last year with a record of 4-9. They failed to earn a bowl berth and it was 2007 when the program last did. Head coach Mike MacIntyre will be back for his fourth year. The Buffaloes are experienced with nine starters back on offense and nine to the defense. Starting quarterback Sefo Liufau will return for his senior season. Liufau in 2015 completed 62% of his throws for 2418 yards with nine touchdowns and six pick.s He has seen significance action in all three of his years with the program. They close out the month of September with back to back road games at Michigan and Oregon.
