Suncrest Fire Burns Through the Night

The Suncrest Fire grew to nearly 500 acres over the weekend after first sparking on the afternoon of August 27 and sending up billowing plumes of smoke that were visible from Leavenworth and Peshastin in Washington state.
This timelapse footage shows smoke from the fire streaming above the region’s forested hilltops.
