A man in Norway is now wishing he’d done just that, as his attempt to fish a friend's phone from a tank beneath a public facility went horribly wrong.
He ended up stuck in the waste receptacle, thigh-deep in feces, for roughly an hour.
According to the BBC, firefighters were eventually called and cracked open the toilet, giving the man sufficient room to exit.
The victim told a Norwegian news outlet, “It was disgusting as hell. The worst thing I have ever experienced. Animals were down there too.”
Though the man did get out of his predicament without serious injury, he was not able to locate the phone, notes the San Francisco Chronicle.
